This Agreement:

This is the soes.ca Web Site. Your use of this Web Site is subject to the following terms and conditions, which you acknowledge to each and every time you use the Web Site.

"we" means Superior Oilsands Employment Services Corp., and "our" shall be construed accordingly. "you" means the person, firm, company, or organization browsing and/or using the soes.ca website, and "your" shall be construed accordingly. Superior Oilsands Employment Services Corp will be referred to as SOES throughout this agreement.

The Web Site may be accessed and used only by individuals who have: (a) reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence and can form legally binding contracts under applicable law; and (b) accepted this Agreement. Persons using the Web Site must comply with all applicable laws. SOES may in its discretion refuse permission to access and use the Web Site.

Each time you use the Web Site you signify your acceptance and agreement, and the acceptance and agreement of all persons you represent, without limitation or qualification, to be bound by this Agreement, and you represent and warrant that you have the legal authority to agree to and accept this Agreement on behalf of yourself and all persons you represent. If you do not agree with each provision of this Agreement, or you are not authorized to agree to and accept this Agreement, you may not use the Web Site.

SOES respects the privacy concerns of every individual utilizing its Web Site. This statement is designed to provide visitors with a clearly defined understanding of the personal information gathered through this site, and the ways in which that information will be used. The following information discloses our privacy principles in addition to our practices for gathering, storing, and using your personal data. We encourage you to review this information so that you may understand how we may collect, use, and share your personal information. Unless you provide sufficient personal information, we may be unable to assist you with your employment requirements.

Collection of information:

SOES' goal in collecting your personal data is to provide you with the most personalized service possible. By knowing more about you, SOES is able to deliver leading employment services. When hiring employees, we may also request personal information that is considered "sensitive". This involves processing and storing information (including, without limitation, sensitive personal data) and passing or making available online such information to prospective employers and clients. We may use third parties to help us process your information as part of the recruitment process. As an employer and employment service representing applicants to potential employers, SOES collects previous employment information in order to develop a detailed understanding of a potential applicant's work style, abilities, history and experience. SOES will contact previous employers to verify information provided regarding past work history. In the course of representing applicants to potential employers, SOES will provide such information as is necessary to convey the full scope of an individual's work experience, history and abilities. We are required by law to hold your personal data and sensitive data for as long as it is necessary to comply with out statutory obligations. We will use reasonable endeavors to ensure that your personal data and sensitive data is maintained and up to date. You are under a duty to inform as of any and all changes to your personal data and sensitive data and to ensure it is up to date.

Sharing of Aggregate Information:

We may collect and aggregate data from the information supplied by you to help us to understand our users as a group so that we can provide you with a better service. We may also share aggregate information with selected third parties, without disclosing individual names or identifying information. You consent to us, SOES corp., using information provided by you (including, without limitation, sensitive personal data) in each of these ways. SOES collects statistical information in aggregate regarding the utilization of its Web Site. Such information is used to provide enhanced support and service offerings. SOES strives to keep your personally identifiable information accurate. We will give you the ability to review and update the personal information you have provided. You are solely responsible for any information submitted by you to this site. You are responsible for ensuring that all information supplied by you is true, accurate, up-to-date and not misleading or likely to mislead or deceive and that it is not discriminatory, obscene, offensive, defamatory or otherwise illegal, unlawful or in breach of any applicable legislation, regulations, guidelines or codes of practice or the copyright, trade mark or other intellectual property rights of any person in any jurisdiction. You are also responsible for ensuring that all information, data and files are free of viruses or other routines or engines that may damage or interfere with any system or data prior to being submitted to this site. We reserve the right to remove any information supplied by you from the website at our sole discretion, at any time and for any reason without being required to give any explanation. Personal data that is collected from you will be retained or destroyed according to company requirements and/or local laws. SOES holds its employees, agents, and suppliers accountable for maintaining the trust our applicants, employees, and customers place in us. We educate our employees and periodically verify our compliance with our privacy and security policies. SOES does not sell or trade personal data to third parties. We will disclose personal information when required by law. We will send the personal data of our applicants and temporary employees to SOES customers and/or agents who are acting on our behalf to provide you an employment opportunity. We may also send your personal data to marketing companies who will then contact you to determine your feedback and satisfaction with our services. These companies may also send you information on our services. We will only provide these agents and suppliers with the personal information they need to deliver the service we have requested.

SOES and the affiliates and providers will not under any circumstances be liable to you or any other person for any loss of use, loss of production, loss of income or profits (anticipated or otherwise), loss of markets, economic loss, special, incidental, indirect or consequential loss or damage or exemplary or punitive damages, whether in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or under any other theory of law or equity, arising from, connected with, or relating to the use of the web site by you or any other person, and regardless of any negligence or other fault or wrongdoing by SOES or any affiliate or provider or any person for whom SOES or an affiliate or provider may be responsible, and notwithstanding that SOES or any affiliate or provider may have been advised of the possibility of such loss or damages being incurred by you or any other person.

You hereby release, remise and forever discharge each of SOES and the affiliates and providers and all of their respective franchisees, partners, agents, directors, officers, employees, information providers, service providers, suppliers, subcontractors, licensors and licensees, and all other related, associated, or connected persons from any and all manner of rights, claims, complaints, demands, causes of action, proceedings, liabilities, obligations, legal fees, costs, and disbursements of any nature and kind whatsoever and howsoever arising, whether known or unknown, which now or hereafter exist, which arise from, relate to, or are connected with your use of the web site. You acknowledge and agree this agreement represents a fair allocation of risk and liability.

If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed to be severed from the rest of this Agreement and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions. Any claim or cause of action you may have arising from, connected with, or relating to your use of the Web Site, this Agreement, or any related matter must be commenced within six (6) months after the claim or cause of action arises, after which time the claim or cause of action is forever barred, regardless of any statue or law to the contrary. SOES' maximum liability arising out of or in connection with any SOES Web Site or your use of the SOES content, regardless of the cause of action (whether in contract, tort, breach of warranty or otherwise), will not exceed $100. The parties have expressly requested and required that this Agreement and all other related documents be drawn up in the English language.

You authorize SOES and Affiliates and Providers to: (a) accept communications that they receive from you by means of the Web Site or e-mail as if those communications had been given directly by you in writing and signed by you; (b) disclose your communications to any Affiliates and Providers, and SOES workers by means of the Web Site, e-mail or other communications; and (c) respond to your communications by means of Internet communications, e-mail or other communications. Communications you send to SOES by means of the Web Site or e-mail are not effective unless and until they are processed by the responsible SOES agent.  
SOES may refuse to process any communications sent to SOES by means of the Web Site or e-mail, or may reverse the processing of any communications sent to SOES by means of the Web Site or e-mail, at any time in SOES' discretion, and without any notice or liability to you or any other person, including, without limitation, if: (a) SOES cannot process the communications; (b) the communications violate any provision in this Agreement or any other agreement that you or any other person may have with SOES; (c) SOES considers that the communications conflict with any other instructions or agreements with you or any person you represent; or (d) there is an operational failure or malfunction in connection with the transmission of the communications.

You may not change, supplement, or amend this Agreement in any manner. The Web Site may be used only for lawful purposes. The Web Site may be accessed and used only using commercially available, SSL-capable Web browser software. SOES may collect uses and discloses information regarding your use of the Web Site and your personal information in accordance with this Agreement. SOES may change this Agreement from time to time in its discretion without prior notice or liability to you or any other person. By accepting this Agreement, and each time you use the Web Site, you consent to SOES's collection, use and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with this Agreement as it then reads without any further notice or any liability to you or any other person.

Canada has the world's 2nd-largest proven crude oil reserves. Most reserves are in Alberta's oil sands - approximately 173 billion barrels.

In 2006, Alberta exported about 1.35 million barrels per day of crude oil to the U.S., supplying 13 per cent of their crude oil import and accounting for almost three-quarters of Canada's oil exports to the U.S.

Oil sands accounts for more than two-thirds of investment in the province. $100 billion worth of oil sands investment generates approximately $1 trillion worth of economic activity.

In 2005, Alberta produced about 13.8 billion cubic feet of natural gas a day, and 5 trillion cubic feet per year. That is almost 80% of Canada's natural gas.
