Why work in the Canadian oil industry?

The most important resource in Canada is not oil. It's skilled workers, because oil cannot be produced without them. Canadian oil industry employers need to keep their workers in remote locations happy; this means great compensation oportunities. Fort McMurray, Alberta is the centre of the oil sands development boom. Around it is the second largest proven reserve of crude oil, after Saudi Arabia.

Oil sands may represent as much as two-thirds of the world's total petroleum resource, with at least 1.7 trillion barrels in the Canadian Athabasca Oil Sands and perhaps 235 billion barrels of extra heavy crude in the Venezuelan Orinoco oil sands. Between them, the Canadian and Venezuelan deposits contain about 3.6 trillion barrels of oil in place, compared to 1.75 trillion barrels of conventional oil worldwide, most of it in Saudi Arabia and other Middle-Eastern countries.

Oil investment in Alberta is on the rise, despite the current economic crisis. New projects and oil refineries are being constructed, new contracts being signed; new jobs opportunities appear every day.

Imagine, working on the Canadian Oil Sands, receiving upwards of $150,000 a year. If you are absolutely serious about landing a high paid job in the oil industry, then apply with us today.
